There are a few things you can do to help extend the life of your tan.
The solution sprayed onto the skin reacts naturally with the oils in your skin and darkens the top 25% of your skin.
What can I do to help my tan last longer?
- Wait at least 8 hours before showering. Your solution will have bronzer in it, this will wash off in water, but the DHA (the component that reacts with the skin to create your tan)is colorless when sprayed on, it dyes your skin and will stay there till your skin overturns. Waiting to shower will allow the DHA to soak into your skin and react before washing. When you do shower, DONT SCRUB YOUR SKIN.
- When toweling off, PAT DRY don’t scrub. You need to remember that you’ve tanned your outer layers of skin. Anytime you scrub at that skin, it’ll rub off those layers faster.
- Moisturize. Keeping your skin moist and slowing down the shedding of those outer layers of skin will help the longevity of your tan.
- Purchasing Tan Extender. Use tan extender 1 days after being sprayed to help your tan extend and fade more evenly.
Your tan will last 4-10 days you can help it stay and look better by following these guidelines.
When your tan starts to fade and look inconsistent, Shower and simply scrub your skin to get the old tan to come off.
