Sunless tanning as opposed to sun or booth tanning prevents WRINKLY, SAGGY, and TOUGH leather like skin.
Exposure to Sun and Tanning beds causes a break down of the Collagen in your skin . This damaging of the Collagen fibers causes skin to lose its elasticity, which we see as wrinkles. Protect the health and beauty of your skin by getting your tan done without harmful rays.
-Exposure to ultraviolet light, UVA or UVB, from sunlight accounts for 90% of the symptoms of premature skin aging.
The Safer Option
Airbrush tanning is the safest form of tanning. All my solutions are organic and react naturally with your skins oils to create a healthy glow. I used to use tanning beds, and lay out many hours working on that perfect tan. Until the day my sister got Diagnosed with Melanoma, an extremely fast spreading, genetically linked and lethal form of skin cancer. I’ve known several people who’s lives were shortened by Melanoma. My sister was lucky enough to not lose too much in the removal of her Cancer. Since then, I turned to safer forms of getting that perfectly tanned skin. Airbrush tanning is a safe alternative to other cancer causing forms of tanning. Below are some facts that should be considered when deciding to switch to sunless tanning.
-Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than 3.5 million skin cancers are diagnosed annually
-One person dies of melanoma every hour
-People who first use a tanning beds before age 35 increase their risk for melanoma by 75 percent
-Each year there are more new cases of skin cancer than the combined incidence of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon.
-About 86 percent of melanomas can be attributed to exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation
- Just one indoor tanning session increases users’ chances of developing melanoma by 20 percent, and each additional session during the same year boosts the risk almost another two percent.
